What if Hillary talked to angels? Well, then she'd be Bernie. Growing up in middle America, Bernie always knew she was meant for something. Then one day, an angel told her what it was. As she struggles to fulfill her God-given destiny, Bernie goes on a journey which may sound very familiar. College radical. First Lady. Senator. And then? She's going to be the leader of the world, free or otherwise.

Because it's what God wants.

Chosen continues Dysfunctional Theatre's rich tradition of political and social satire (Hoover: A Love Story, Mr. Rogers' Y2K, Il Duce: The Rudy Giuliani Story). An irreverent take on the life of Hillary Rodham Clinton, Chosen careens through 50 years of history in less than 60 minutes. And there's music!

Starring: Rob Brown*, Danaher Dempsey, Allison Sell, Amy Beth Sherman*, Theresa Unfried & Alexander R. Warner*

The Dysfunctional Theatre Company: Chosen is Dysfunctional Theatre's 29th production. Other recent productions include: Orange Murder Suit (by Rob Matsushita), The Eight: Reindeer Monologues (by Jeff Goode), Bite (by Suzanne Bachner) and Hoover: A Love Story (by Paul Wells). Founded in 1997 and currently celebrating its 10th Anniversary Season, Dysfunctional is dedicated to challenging the status quo without taking itself too seriously.

Chosen is part of the FRIGID New York Festival, running from February 27th-March 9th. For more information about the festival, go to
