Jack Rogers is convinced the end of the world is nigh. In fact, so much so that he kidnaps his estranged children the day before New Years' Eve, and holds them captive in his secluded compound to keep them "safe" from the impending Y2K crisis, despite the fact that his children are fully-grown with lives of their own. His son Neil is gay and anorexic, his daughter is bulimic and susceptible to frequent anxiety attacks, and his mild-mannered son-in-law is both alarmed and flummoxed by the bizarre behavior of the Rogers family. What follows is a wacky, weird and frequently funny New Years' Eve celebration of sorts, as they all struggle to come to terms with the past and the future.

MISTER ROGERS' Y2K is the seventh production of the Dysfunctional Theatre Company, who were responsible for such travesties as "IL DUCE: The Rudy Giuliani Story", and the long-running "ALIEN SEX CULT CLONES MADONNA!"
